The Motorola P30 and P30 Note are notch phones aimed at China. They have international versions, called Motorola One and One Power . Rumors said we would have a third handset, the Motorola P30 Play - and it appeared on the maker's official website. However, the page has been removed.

The Motorola P30 Play features a 5.88-inch IPS screen with HD + resolution (1520 x 720) and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. It occupies 86% of the front, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The notch houses the 8-megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 aperture lens and background blur. Meanwhile, the rear camera is dual, with main sensor 13 MP f / 2.0 and secondary 2 MP f / 2.4.

The Snapdragon 625 comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of microSD expandable storage. The battery has 3,000 mAh; not as big as we expected from the Play line. (Meanwhile, the P30 Note has a 5,000 mAh battery.) It runs Android 8.0 Oreo with ZUI 4.0.

The rear is made of 2.5D glass, with metal frame. The fingerprint reader is on the Motorola logo. The smartphone measures 149.9 x 72.2 x 7.97 mm and weighs 162 grams.

The Motorola P30 Play appeared on the official website of the manufacturer for China, in white (Ice Jade White) and black (Bright Black), costing the equivalent of R $ 1,150. The page has been removed but may be an imminent launch signal.

It should increase the list of handsets that Motorola has already launched this year :
  • Motorola One / Motorola P30
  • Motorola One Power / Motorola P30 Note
  • Moto Z3
  • Moto Z3 Play (4 GB + 64 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB)

  • Moto G6 Play
  • Moto G6 Plus
  • Motorcycle E5
  • Moto E5 Plus
  • Moto E5 Play (US only)
  • Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition
